Apply to Acaso’s influencer program in five minutes or less. Share what you know about your audience’s fashion needs and pain points—whether it’s fit, sizing, or color.

Ideate

Share initial ideas for your concept. This could include a mood board, sketches—whatever medium you’re comfortable with.

Co-create

Get your audience involved! Share your initial concepts and get their feedback on colors, cuts, and fabrics. We’ll take that feedback, finalize the design, create a sample, and mail it to you for review.

Finalize

Try on the sample, see how it fits, and give us feedback! We’ll make any necessary edits and then set a date for your product launch

OUR STORY

We have deep roots in fashion, marketing, and product development.

Our story begins a millennium ago, in a galaxy far, far away. The year was 1975: Watergate happens, disco is still in—change is in the air...

1975

Rocio begins her studies as a patternmaker in a convent in Quito, Ecuador.

1985

Rocio immigrates to America and begins working in quality control at a garment factory in Brooklyn. Her sister Maria immigrates to America nine years later, and Maria starts working at the factory as a seamstress.

2000

Maria opens up her own garment factory with her two sisters, Rocio and Conchita, with a focus on children’s and women’s clothing. Within three years, the factory takes on bigger clients, including national brands like Mango and Von Dutch.

2008

The Great Recession happens, orders slow down from big brands and the factory pivots to serving smaller, local brands in New York City.

2020

COVID disrupts life around the world, supply chains freeze, and business is brought back on-shore. Local startup fashion brands begin hiring Maria for a wide range of items: pre-teen girls’ clothing, workout clothes, and even booties for dogs.

2021

Acaso is born: Maria's son Fernando moves back to New York with his fiancé, Camille, so they can start Acaso. After eight years in the Bay Area's tech industry, in marketing and product development, they've returned to New York to push the factory into the modern era.
